WHY WE EXIST
R2-N-Motion, Inc. exists because too many students and families face barriers that limit access to opportunities, resources, and experiences that can change the trajectory of their lives.
We believe that every child deserves the chance to succeed regardless of their background, circumstances, or zip code. Through academic support, workforce readiness, STEM exploration, mentorship, social-emotional development and community engagement, we provide students with the tools, exposure, and encouragement needed to discover their potential and pursue their purpose.
By investing in young people early, we strengthen families, empower communities, and create pathways for lifelong success.

The Person Behind the Work
Dr. Neiko S. Hendricks-Gilbert is an educator, nonprofit leader, veteran, and passionate advocate for youth development.
With more than three decades of experience serving students, families, and communities, she has dedicated her career to creating opportunities that empower young people to achieve academic success, develop essential life skills, and reach their full potential. Her commitment to education is rooted in the belief that every child deserves access to high-quality learning experiences, meaningful mentorship, and pathways to future success.
As the founder of R2-N-Motion, Inc., Dr. Hendricks-Gilbert established the organization to address the growing need for academic support, workforce readiness, social-emotional development, and community engagement among youth. Through innovative programming, she works to bridge the gap between education and real-world opportunities by providing students with hands-on experiences, exposure to STEM careers, mentorship, and paid learning opportunities that build confidence, responsibility, and leadership.
Dr. Hendricks-Gilbert holds a Doctorate in Education and has served in various educational leadership roles throughout her career. She is also a proud veteran of the United States Army, where she learned the values of discipline, service, and perseverance that continue to guide her work today. Above all, she is a devoted mother who adores her two children, Kennedi and Kaleb, whose lives continue to inspire her commitment to helping all young people discover their purpose and potential.
Through R2-N-Motion, she remains dedicated to restoring purpose and resurrecting possibilities, creating lasting change for students, families, and communities throughout Anderson, Indianapolis, and beyond.

OUR PROGRAMS
Every R2-N-Motion program is built around one core belief: students learn best when learning is meaningful, hands-on, and connected to real life. Through academic support, STEM exploration, workforce readiness, and life-skills development, students gain practical experiences they can apply immediately while building confidence, leadership, and lifelong opportunities for success.
Learn-2-Earn Program
The Learn-2-Earn Program (L2E) is designed to prepare students for future success by combining workforce readiness training with academic and personal development. Through structured learning, mentorship, and paid experiences, students build responsibility, professional skills, and confidence to succeed in school, career, and life.

Academic Enhancement Program
The Academic Enhancement Program (AEP) is designed to provide students with targeted academic support in core subjects while also strengthening essential skills needed for long-term success. This program combines rigorous instruction, enrichment activities, and personalized support to help students build confidence, close learning gaps, and excel both in school and beyond.

Indy Summer Learning Lab
The Indy Summer Learning Lab (ISLL) is designed to provide students with a safe, engaging, and structured summer experience focused on academic enrichment, STEM exploration, and hands-on learning. This program includes enrichment activities, field experiences, community service projects, and social-emotional support to help students stay on track academically while building confidence and real-world skills.
